Fox Human Capital is advising a huge company specialized in Dredging, Offshore, Environmental, and Infra for the position of Office Finance Manager Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.
Responsibilities :
Accounting : ensure or execute statutory and commercial accounting according to local legal requirements and IFRS guidelines.
Analysis & Monitoring : analyze financial results, monitor the budgeting and forecasting control cycle, identify and analyze potential financial risk areas and support or monitor the implementation of risk mitigating activities.
Cash management : draw cash flow forecasts and analyze and monitor these, as well as monitor, analyze and advise on hedging of foreign cash flows and fuel.
Reporting : ensure all in- and external commercial and financial reporting on the project phases and end results of the project and / or business units.
Advice : provide detailed advice and signal opportunities for improvement to (project) management on project related financial matters, such as financing possibilities for clients on projects.
QHSE-S : work and act in accordance with the applicable QHSE-S instructions and measures.
Project support : ensure financial project administration, design and follow-up planning, organization of on-site logistics, staff support, facilities, and general administration, in line with local and legal requirements.
Personnel administration : ensure adequate personnel administration and information as well as the processing of salary payments, in line with local requirements, legislation, and HR policies, on those projects that lack a dedicated project HR.
People management : plan, lead and develop project / office members, assure adequate training of personnel.
Skill and Qualifications :
- Masters degree in applied economics, accountancy, or finance;
- Several years of experience in a similar role;
- Superior reading, writing, and language skills in English and Portuguese;
- Leadership skills and some proven experience in this domain;
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision;
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications;
- Work independently and you make decisions easily and take the initiative in finding solutions;
Advanced skills in Excel.
