The Role :
As a Managed Services Team Lead, you will be essential in delivering exceptional service quality to our Managed Services clients while overseeing a state-based consulting team of technical specialists.
Your role involves leading and mentoring the team, serving as an escalation point for staff issues, and ensuring that KPIs are met.
You will manage your own portfolio of clients, coordinating daily tasks and resource allocation while acting as the primary contact for service delivery issues.
We seek a dynamic, self-motivated individual with strong technical skills across various IT infrastructure areas, capable of working independently in a results-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities :
- Team Operational Management (Including Leave, Roster, On-Call, Queue Management, Ticket Execution as required)
- Technical Leadership / Guidance & Escalation Point
- Staff Management (Including 1 : 1’s, Personal Development Plans and Team Meetings)
- Ensuring Quality Delivery within Team
- Supporting Team Development through Coaching & Mentoring of Team Members
- Maximising Staff Engagement Levels
- Client SLA Management & Contract Adherence
- Maximising Client Satisfaction
- Support in the Execution of Managed Services Strategic Objectives
- Development of ITIL Aligned Operational Processes
Key Skills :
- Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role and able to demonstrable experience in technical team management
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a senior technical role
- Comprehensive experience in core enterprise applications
- Technical competence across a broad range of technologies
- Maintain effective stakeholder involvement and engagement with decision making process
- Problem Solver and analytical
- Excellent negotiator and influencer
- Strong decision making and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach and mentor staff
- Ability to delegate effectively
- Ability to manage and implement change
Qualifications and Education :
Education
Degree or equivalent in Information Technology
Certifications
- Citrix
- MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP , VCP
- Nutanix / VMware / Hyper V certs
- AWS (desirable)AZ 104 / AZ 500
- ITIL Certification would be advantages
