Cloud Architect

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Architect to join us in São Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners.

You'll define requirements and deliver solutions based on the Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services offerings. You will lead small to medium-sized project teams and ensure the quality of customer deliverables for one or more projects.

You will apply well-developed consulting, business, and process expertise in your work and coach and mentor others while building good customer relationships.

You will earn the trust and confidence of our customer Engineering, Development, and Operations teams by matching their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of our solutions.

As a Cloud Architect, you will serve as a customer advocate within Red Hat, delivering the right solutions and ensuring that these solutions are implemented and supported in a creative and reliable way.

What you will do

• Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions.
• Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments.
• Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.
• Address the customer’s technical, development, and strategic IT requirements as the main point of contact for Red Hat’s professional services.
• Use industry practices and Red Hat's policies and procedures to solve diverse problems.
• Serve as a customer advocate, designing the right solutions and ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.
• Design, create, and deliver content that will enable the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions at scale.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Infrastructure, Cloud, Container, and Automation producing whitepapers, webinars, etc.

What you will bring

• 10+ years of experience working as a cloud architect, solutions architect, enterprise architect, or in a consulting delivery role.
• Proven record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT operations and engineering professionals and business executives.
• Prior experience working in a consulting architecture role; ability to deliver in one-on-one assignments.
• Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions.
• Comfortable working with highly distributed teams, including interaction with open source communities via email and other communication tools.
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level.
• Experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments.
• Knowledge of one or more Red Hat’s infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; extensive experience presenting to C-level executives.
• Understanding of the open source community.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
• Willingness to travel across the region.
• Excellent written and verbal language skills in English and Spanish.
• Red Hat Certifications are considered a plus.
