Roles & Responsibilities - Common Duties

• Updation of trackers
• Month / Year-End close activities
• Co-ordinate and liaise with Line of Business / Affiliates
• Ensure meeting SLA terms and conditions at all times
• Ensure all reports are collated and sent across on time
• Ensure compliance with policies and practices
• Perform thorough quality assurance on documents to ensure consistency and quality is maintained throughout
• Reduce dependence on Supervisors input
• Effectively coach / counsel others
• Participate in team events / initiatives
• Perform team building activities
• Global Accounts Receivable
• Clear incoming payments
• Request payment advice from CSRs
• Follow up on unapplied, partially applied and unidentified payments for faster resolution
• Handle / administrate Generic and process specific mailboxes
• Inter-company payment clearings
• Maintain / update payments
• AR monthly reporting, AR reconciliation, AR upload to SALSA
• Handle rebates and commission
• Reversal of incorrect entries upon the CSR's request
• Credit management responsibilities credit limit review (annual and ad-hoc) and reporting
• Customer dunning for overdue invoices
• Update transfer prices in SAP and analysis of TP prices
• Proactive involvement in projects

Responsibilities as an AR Team Leader

Ensure all tasks are completed with good quality within the time stipulated against each of them

Ensure all mails on shared mailboxes and all other queries are answered within the time stipulated under the SLA or as agreed within the department

Ensure all tasks are continuously optimized / standardized

Requirements and Work Experience

• Degree in Accounts / Finance
• 5+ years of work experience in financial domain and proficient knowledge of financial accounting
• 1-2 years of work experience in leading operations teams, process transition or process optimization
• Strong MS Office skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English (moderate levels)
• Spanish is a plus
