KPI Mining is looking for a talented and experienced UX / UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences and visually appealing interfaces for our digital products.

As a UX / UI Designer , you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conduct research, and translate insights into intuitive design solutions for commercial software products.

Objective

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conduct research, and translate insights into intuitive design solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to translate user stories / business requirements into digital experiences.
• Lead and suggest functionality to the applications we develop.
• Develop personas and usage scenarios through user research and data and identify pain points in the user’s journey.
• Identify and tackle design issues within the development team while tracking and providing solutions to design issues.
• Be responsible for providing high-quality deliverables such as user journeys, user flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups, and prototypes.
• Stay up to date on best practices, trends, patterns, and tools in modern UX design.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and industry trends.

Critical Competencies and Profile

• Proven UX design experience (5 years) with a strong portfolio demonstrating past work and process.
• Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Invision, etc.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Excellent communication skills you should be able to articulate your design decisions clearly and convincingly.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of user-system interaction.
• Bilingual : Fluent in English. French is also an asset.
• Self-managed mindset.
