Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a Python / C++ Developer.

In this high-impact role, you will be part of a talented group of developers and researchers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.

You will play a key role in designing, researching, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions within the telecommunications and security sectors.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to product evolution by driving both investigative research and development activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality features and services that align with our customer needs.

As a Cognyter you will :

Working with product and solution development in telecommunications and security

Contributing as part of a global team

Evaluating technologies to develop new solutions

Actively working with team members to create new products / features, seeking to improve the user experience and maintaining the company's visual standards

Creating mockups and prototypes that allow validation of new concepts, new features or demonstrating new versions

Developing and keeping updated guides / frameworks / standards that allow other developers to use visual identity and its components in the construction of new products or features

Researching and developing new tools / products for the telecommunications and security area

Identifying, analyzing and correcting problems in the systems

For that mission you’ll need :

• Higher education completed
• Experience with Python and C++ in Linux and Windows environments
• Experience in developing and troubleshooting Network Protocols and Network Analysis Tools (Wireshark)
• Flexibility and interest to always learn new technologies
• Advanced English level
• An endlessly curious mind
• Research skills including the ability to conduct investigations, make observations, draw inferences, perform analysis and derive solutions to a particular issue

What will differentiate you

Post-graduate degree in software engineering or information systems

Experience in reverse engineering network protocols

Knowledge of telecommunications networks (SS7, Diameter, 5G), Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Software Defined Radio (SDR) development, Network Security, Embedded Systems or Mobile Operating Systems (Android, IOS)
