About the job The Warehouse Supervisor is responsiblefor overseeing the logistics and transportation operationsinvolving the Middle Mile segment of the supply chain.

This roleinvolves managing the movement of goods between distributioncenters, fulfillment centers, and other key locations to ensuretimely and cost-effective delivery of products.

KeyResponsibilities Develop and implement strategies to optimize theMiddle Mile supply chain operations. Coordinate with carriers,freight forwarders, and transportation providers to ensure timelydelivery of goods.

Monitor transportation costs, performancemetrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiencyand cost savings.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams includingwarehouse operations, procurement, and inventory management tostreamline operations.

Analyze transportation routes, modes oftransport, and delivery schedules to improve service levels andreduce lead times.

Identify opportunities for process improvementand implement best practices in Middle Mile logistics operations.Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safetystandards.

Lead and mentor a team of Middle Mile logisticsspecialists and coordinators. Qualifications Bachelor's degree insupply chain management, logistics, or a related field.

Master'sdegree preferred. Proven experience in supply chain management,logistics, or transportation operations, with a focus on the MiddleMile segment.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency intransportation management systems (TMS) and supply chain software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaboratewith internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to lead a team,prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of industry best practices, transportation regulations,and market trends in Middle Mile logistics.

Certification in supplychain management or logistics (e.g., CSCMP, APICS) is a plus.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.

g., Lean,Six Sigma) is desirable.
