Regional Key Account Manager - Retail

• KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESACCOUNT MANAGEMENTServe as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing their usual and customary business requestsElevate and expand relationships across functional departments within the customer supply chainIdentify and collaborate with local sales and operations contacts within DP World to support the account's needsCreate comprehensive development plans, across the full toolbox of capabilities, for all aspects of assigned accounts, regularly updating themOPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATIONIdentify and qualify opportunities for additional business, guiding them from initial contact to contractCollaborate with Region / DP World Country Capabilities sales and account management to match customer needs with DP World's capabilitiesExpands market share by driving an active opportunity pipelineCOMMUNICATION & REPORTINGConduct regular business reviews, leveraging internal data and market intelligenceProvide regular reports, briefings, and reviews within DP World, including updates to the regional CCOs, VPs, global KAM (if applicable and working on global accounts) and Vertical LeadsEnsure all stakeholders are informed of the account's strategy and statusRETENTION & GROWTHDevelop and execute plans to retain current global business levels with specified accounts, aiming for a 'no bid' confidence levelBuild and strengthen relationships with the client at the 'C' level and across relevant levels and geographiesOwn account strategy including RFP, proposal, and award management through a clear understanding of customer buying habitsEngage internal leadership team members to ensure alignment, resource prioritization and participation in account strategyFINANCIAL MANAGEMENTDrive Gross Profit growth at a global to Region / DP World Country levelEnsure compliance with commercial arrangements and customer obligationsProactive review of financial results, volume, and service performance reports to monitor and drive account healthBUDGET & ROIContribute input for the annual budget cycle based on approved account plansTake responsibility for achieving targets that benefit both DP World and the customerLEADERSHIPResponsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration, full set of toolbox capabilities, and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time boundAct as an ambassador for DP World always when working;

understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policiesRemain agile and creative to keep a strong team cultureQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSBachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

MBA or advanced degree preferred5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldProven track record of experience on the Retail verticalProven track record in account management, with demonstrated client retention and growth successStrong negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsExceptional problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing prioritiesProficiency in relevant software and tools (e.
