Our Operations and Procurement Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant to join our procurement team. This role primarily focuses on managing the procurement processes for indirect categories.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, finance, engineering or accounting.
This position reports directly to the Director of Procurement, and this is a remote work from home opportunity with flexible office space on demand.

How you'll make a difference :
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for indirect spend categories.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of in the market.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Engage legal and other internal stakeholders in policy and process updates.

Preferred Skills / Experience :
- Have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance or accounting.
- 8+ years of work experience as a Buyer, Category manager, Purchasing Officer, or relevant role within procurement, finance or accounting.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills.
- Excellent negotiation, strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to gather, analyze and model data.
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
