Customer Sales / Business Development- Inside Non-Asset(Traditional Brokerage) Our client is a full-service supply chainsolutions company.

Branch ManagerThe Branch Manager of Highway Logistics will be responsible forsales and operations of Brokerage Services of the Companyportfolio.

It will be critical for this leader to develop a salesculture to drive growth that are a) demanded by customers, b)complementary to existing Company competencies, c) offer aboveaverage revenue and profit growth rates.

This position has broadresponsibilities including hiring, training, and Profit / Lossresponsibilities. The Branch Manager position represents aleadership role within the Company.

Job Type : Full-timeResponsibilities : - Develop the operational, budgeting, andforecasting plans for the branch. - Determine specific industriesor modes for the branch to focus on.

• Ensure a balanced investmentapproach between business development and operations. - Develop asales culture throughout all positions of the branch.
• Develop orreview detailed financial plans, profit and loss income statementand adherence to the EBITDA plan. - Work with other Companyoperating units to develop joint approaches to customer developmentand growth.
• Deliver cost effective solutions that always keepsthe long-term interest of the customer as the priority. - Create ahigh-performance team atmosphere that fosters innovation, highproductivity, and low turnover.
• Set and monitor team performanceto ensure annual goals and objectives are achieved. - Effectivelysupervise and manage direct reports by providing team leadershipand motivation.
• Evaluate and communicate team member performancelevels through formal and informal procedures including regularleadership and management meetings, 1 : 1 meetings to provideleadership development, and a forum for communication to ensurecoordination and collaboration in meeting individual andorganization goals.
• Ensure annual team member performance reviewsare conducted in a timely and effective manner. - Evaluateperformance of team members for compliance with establishedpolicies and objectives of the organization and contributions inattaining objectives.
• Develop high functioning teams by focusingon service, team morale, teamwork, and a positive culture. - EnsureCompany operating procedures and protocol are adhered to.

Experience : - 4-year college degree in a relevant field; orcommensurate industry experience - Transportation or supply chainrelated experience preferred - Business development, personaltraining, sales knowledge, and highway service knowledgerecommended - Demonstrable business development, operations, andsales successes recommended - Record of business acumen improvingthe financial results for business recommended - Preferredexperience managing a profit center - Apply knowledge oforganization, communication, conflict resolution, project, personalmanagement, and time management skills - Use basic computer skills- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 10 Key, and Data Entry -Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished inwritten, oral, diagram, or schedule form - Ability to provide oraland written reports, business correspondence, and effectivepresentation of information to customers, team members, andmanagers - Capable of working independently and making decisionswith limited supervision - Ability to solve practical problems anddeal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where onlylimited standardization exists - Registry Monitoring InsuranceServices (RMIS) skills preferred - Transportation Management System(TMS) skills preferred - Develop, supervise, provide teamleadership, and motivation to the team This position offers acompetitive base salary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
